Talking to my friend, Big Dave, today has made be realize that there are so many cool things to do and see on the web that I am not taking advantage of. So I am going to try and do some more – hey they might be good things to put in here.
What constitutes as something on the “geek things” list? I might want to try some geeky things myself.

I can probably add:
4 install Fedora Core 4 (and get wireless working)

6 finish reading perl and algorithms
7 Go to perl mongers againI learned about 43 things at a creative session for work. Since coming on here (I was so not an internet girl before this!) I have learned about so many cool things on the net.

I have always been an internet boy – but 43 things has reinvented the whole thing for me.
Threadless.com is way cool – now if I can only choose a design (or maybe be brave and submit my own).
Oh my other fave site is flickr for photo sharing – 43things knows about it too – hence the photos to the side of my things…
I am sad to say that I don’t have a digital camera yet. I took a photography class last year and bought a SLR 35 mm. Wanted the digital SLR but it was sooooo expensive.
Maybe this year after I’ve sorted my flat out and have a bit of extra cash.
I can’t wait for my jellyfish tee to arrive!

Postcrossing.com is such a dear idea—my first two cards are headed out to women in Germany tomorrow.
Feared Slashdot.com was a little too brainy, but stumbled on scientific research (and the joking debate that followed) as to whether or not a Velociraptor is a real disemboweling threat… great site.

Heh heh – slashdot is not brainy but it is very very very geeky.
I just received another card from a Lithuanian girl who is living in Cincinnati. I love the way these cards give you tiny little glimpses into other peoples lives and let you share your own life and thoughts with somebody.
