After I got an iPod, I was interested in getting an iBook, and as a windows guy, it was great. Everything worked perfectly and without any problems what-so-ever.

However, unless you have tons of cash, expect your iBook to be a music/movie/web/office suite device. Photoshop taxes my 900 Mhz iBook, and it can be sluggish at times, and video editing on it is painful… but it’s a great light computer to take to the local coffee shop and use their free wifi connection.
