It’s so hard to get out of it.
the most recent thing I’ve tried doing which helped on the days that I did it was writing down in the beginning of the day that I do not want to binge or purge and then list my reasons why. I thought I’d be writing the same reasons, but different reasons came out.
Every day that I did it, I didn’t binge or purge.

Please don’t take offence, but I think you may have got the wrong end of a mighty long stick…
I don’t actually have an eating disorder, infact food is one of life’s greatest pleasures, I love to cook and eating good, healthy, well prepared food is an essential in my life… Anyway it wasn’t a binge/puke thing, it was a puke thing brought on by a stomach bug I caught in work.
I mean no offence, but if you do have the compusion to binge and then throw up you really should seek some professional support, and that’s my professional opinion as a Nurse. Feel free to message me if you would like me to point you in a helpful direction. Although it appears you are aware of your motives and your actions so you may even be in recovery or well on your way at least. Really I sincerely mean that I wish you all the luck in the world with that.
Afterall, everyone needs to love themselves before anyone else can love them and some of us just need a little help to discover how precious we really are.
