You have to become an apprentice for about 3 months first…just apply to as many shops as you can until you find a piercer willing to take you on. You’ll also have to attend some seminars as well as take a blood born pathogen class. You have to be atleast 18 to pierce legally and I guarantee you that nobody will hire you until you’ve finished your minimum 3 month apprenticeship along with some hands on training. No other previous experience(piercings not done in a licensed shop) matters unless you’ve completed your apprenticeship, bottom line. Good luck.
