I am not depressed as I was when I first made that goal. Still, I am searching for a good reason. I left the soul-crushing relationship I was in. I’m in a different country and around a completely different set of people. It’s a new start for me.

It’s been hard, but I go forward every day with the idea that joy will come back into my life. That would be a reason to live.
