I call it a “mouse house” b/c its so tiny only a mouse would fit here. But instead of moving, I’m thinking this is an opportunity to get creative and fix up the place to suit me.

This week I’m going to focus on lighting. Its got terrible lighting—looks like a dreary 70s movies in here.
I am certainly no Home and Garden expert, but I saw this trick…kinda cool and very inexpensive. Take an old window frame, add to it, a picture of the outdoors..like from a wall calander, say of the ocean. Put it in the frame and hang it on the wall…It may not make your room look bigger, but it will appear as if your room is looking out onto bigger and better things!

that’s a great idea. it would make a cool effect—I hear that hanging mirrors also makes the room seem bigger. maybe a mirror in an old window frame..?
I also love old maps and was thinking of framing a couple of small ones and placing them around the kitchen area or something.
