Ever since i saw the movie The Cutting Edge with the ageless Moira Kelly and D.B. Sweeney, i’ve always wanted to skate. i did take lessons, finished the basic levels, but never got onto freestyle coz i needed a new pair of skates, and i didnt have the funds for it. my mom wasnt supportive of it, and still isnt. that’s my ultimate dream. i’ve always wanted to be a performer. i’ve always loved to dance. skating is also dancing, only it’s done on ice wearing a pair of skates and doing some more stunts. pretty dangerous, but it sure is exciting to be doing it. and i want to do it. i just wonder when i’m going to live my dream.
