I was debt free for a whole 3 weeks. I had the Ducati paid off one month ago aaaaaand someone decided to run it over while it was parked in a parking lot and total it. SO…

::::deep breath:::

I have to finance about another 5k to cover the difference it is going to take to replace it after the insurance money comes in.

Le suck.

Worse things could have have happened. I’m not going to harp on it here. I’ll just make myself upset again when I’m finally coming to terms with everything. I’m hoping we can blast through this loan quickly. I still have yet to get my car fixed so yeah…

I’m so sorry for you to hear this. I’m glad that you’re trying to see it as a a glitch.

I suppose another way of seeing it is that you needed your emergency fund before it could get established.

It is a case of bad luck, however when I try, I can think of all the things in this situation that were fortunate.

However, that positive vs negative sentiment depends on the hour at which you catch me. Today I’m feeling a bit less sorry for myself so I guess that’s an improvement on yesterday. ;)

Thanks for the note. At least I have a taste of financial freedom. I want that back so badly that this loan should just whiz by.

Much worse things

could have happened. I have a lot to be grateful for in this situation. It really just depends on the hour you catch me as to how I feel about it at that moment.

I’m sure we’ll get through the loan quickly, I know someday we can look back and laugh it is just unfortunate.

I’m just feeling sorry for myself today. ;)

Fortunately I’m feeling a bit less sorry for myself today. ;) I’ve got that taste of being debt free and I want it so badly again that I’m sure this loan will not be long for this world.

It is just unfortunate, not tragic. I need to keep that in perspective.
