I don’t physically do it but emotionally I beat myself to a pulp, and usually the closest to me {my loving boyfrien}! I hope everyone out there can learn to give into just being kind to themselves…

I here you. You are lucky that you have a very loving boyfriend … count your blessings. I beat myself up emotionally as well for a lot of things that I believe I do wrong … and I felt worse about myself when my boyfriend wasn’t there for me when I truly needed him (we’ve now split up).
I agree … we need to learn to be more loving and kind to ourselves, and we don’t need others to make us feel better about ourselves. We need to learn to love ourselves and be our own best friend first and foremost … the way to do this is to rebuild our self-esteem and most of all our self-acceptance, i.e. “to learn to accept that sometimes you will be wrong” ...
Remember: it’s up to us to learn from our mistakes so as to ensure that they are not repeated in the future.
Improving your self-esteem is about “being yourself and knowing that within you lies the power to create all that you want in life”.
If you are interested, have a read of a book called “Self-esteem” by Theresa Francis-Cheung.
And believe in yourself …
