My husband was so kind to set up a mini set/studio to get started with the documentation. I figure a few at a time will do nicely!

Ok – really all you have to do is go to the grocery store, and pick up a piece of poster board (the one I used for the tacky planters was powder blue). You prop it up in a nice L shape, but don’t crease the bend. Then get two light sources if you can. My two light sources were a hanging lamp to the left with no shade over it, slung over a bookshelf; and on the right was a second lamp with the shade left on. They say to get the light sources hitting your object from a 45 degree angle (90 degrees from each-other). Then, I would steady the camera as well as I could, with a shallow depth of field … no flash. Brought the photos in to iPhoto on my mac (I’m sure there are lots of similar programs if you’re using a PC) and adjusted the contrast, upped the saturation and voila! I hope that helps!!!
