I’ve actually done this several times, mostly in restaurants, but I think the best oysters I ever had were from Dabob Bay on Hood Canal, we were out walking on the beach and we just picked us some smaller ones off the beach, shucked them, and ate them right there, they were so fresh, so cool, and the taste of the oyster and the saltwater was great. My friends two year old daughter even ate a raw oyster, which I thought was pretty amazing for a two year old, considering how picky eaters most kids are, and how gross raw oysters look!
