I have been reading about this, and there are some good things that I have been practicing. Like detachment, and act, don’t react. In other words, don’t get emotional, just take actions to solve your problems. I think I spend so much time worrying about my emotions and how I feel when someone says something negative, it hampers me from taking action to solve my problems.

Boundries
I think rather than ignore people, it’s about being able to set boundries up to protect yourself. Where you can here them, but you don’t let the negative energy in to affect your own energetic state. This is especially critical for when you are confronted with “Engery Vampires”...
