my veggies did not work out this year but my little sunflowers and herbs are going strong.

My whole garden is doing really well! I am so pleased. I should post some updated pics too. :)

This year

I did mint, basil,cilantro and oregano. The mint and oregano….just keep on going. The basil and the cilantro were very picky about moisture and sunlight but I had plenty of both until end of July.

One more thing

I was able to make a ton of salsa with the cilantro and freeze it. I made basil and tomato sauce(Pomodoro) and froze that too. So I got alot out of my herb garden this year.

I think I'm going to

bring my herbs indoors for the winter. I planted lots of basil, too. I love to use it for cappelini.

yep it was not a good year for vegies

I know a few people with gardens and none of them had a good year with their vegetables.
