lose weight (read all 26 entries…)

This is ALOT of food for me. I used to be anorexic and I am having a hard time looking at this list of food knowing that it is still only 3PM and look what I have eaten. I never used to eat more than 200-300 calories prior to 7PM. I don’t want to be the way I used to be, but I have gained 30lbs since then. I would like to lose just 8-10 lbs..and I will be happy at this weight…I am scared because I don’t have the security of knowing that I could potentially eat later, because I used up most of my calories early on….ugh stupid eating disorder thoughts. YOU SUCK. I won’t binge tonight i promise myself i wont binge tonight!!!

Breakfast: Slice of light Rye Bread (50cal) and approx 15 mini rye bread crackers (90), 74 calorie protein jerky
Snack 1/2 apple cinnamon oatmeal w/ handful blue berries (100)
Snack 100 calorie bag popcorn
Lunch Minestrone Soup (180)
Snack: 1/2 apple cinnamon oatmeal w/ handful blue berries (100)

trust me i so have those moments but if you weigh yourself everyday (i tend to if i don’t feel too guilty about the day before) i promise it shouldn’t fluctuate by much. i have had those weeks where i eat mexican, thai, and pizza and my weight doesn’t really change when, in the moment, i think it’ll just skyrocket.

plus, you are already aware that you don’t want to go back to your old ways so just try to eat as normally as possible. definitely don’t starve yourself and i think the key is to eat what you’d like, enjoy it and don’t deprive yourself, and stop when you’re full. i think you’re doing great by giving up your old ways. i hope this helps and you can do it. remember there’s no rush and it’s worth it to know that the loss is permanent…
