I did the same thing this year. I was divorced as of last October, and my sister thought it would be great if she moved down to Florida to get a place with me. (My family lives in the Boston area). She’s my oldest sister. I’m almost 28 and she just turned 40. I swear it was the biggest mistake I’ve made this year. The first month was just ok, but then our differences in lifestyle and personality just conflicted. I grew to hate her, little cat fights everyday….I’d take off for the weekend just to get away from her and she’d get pissy because I hadn’t called her all weekend. Then to make matters worse she’d call my family and bad mouth me to everyone. She was a nightmare, I’d never know what kind of mood I’d find her in when getting home…one day she’d be sobbing or bitching about something, and the next she’d want to do facials and paint eachothers nails while watching sex and the city. She had way too many expectations of her move with me. We lived together for 3 months before having a HUGE blowout. I havent talked to her since.
