Ignoring Calls 16 months ago

Hypothetical situation:

Your “friend” calls you. You know they need something. You ignore their call and let it ring through.

How do you feel after?

I personally get a thrill from it, along with some guilt.

I feel fine when this happens.

It’s my phone, I’ll answer it or not, as I see fit.

And I would never feel guilty about this at all.

I agree

My mother, in particular, thinks that it’s incredibly rude if I don’t drop everything and rush to the phone every time it rings.

But she has no problem with putting me on hold if another call comes through while I’m talking to her!

Fuck that. My life doesn’t revolve around my phone.

Neither does mine...

...or it didn’t when I had a life.

The phone is the very last consideration I give to anything.

I love that thrill

it’s like finishing the last of the milk before the other people have had their coffee.

I don’t love the phone ringing over and over. Particularly if it’s happening because I chose not to answer the phone to prolong a morning’s sleep. Bastards. I called out Thursday and this happened. Never let anyone know when you’ve called out of work. Ever.

I wouldnt say i get a trill from it but it woundnt bother me at all. Unless it was someone who has helped me out before then i wouldnt feel even slightly guilty, lol. I’m such a nice person.

I don’t feel a thrill or guilt. If it’s important they’ll leave a message and I’ll get back to them. the only person I felt anxious getting calls from was my sister, who was only calling for money and my instincts were right. She is a lying, thieving cunt. I should never had even given her my number.
I’ve changed my number, so now she can’t call.

Your “friend” or even boyfriend and family members call you. You know they need something. You ignore their call and let it ring through.

I feel so amazing that I didn’t have to hear it because I already know what it was about

I personally get a thrill from it, along with some guilt.
I always get a thrill from it although everyone just believes that I don’t have my phone with them or it’s on silence(which I have led them to believe)truth is I only call you when I want to talk or see whats going on…mean I know, but hey no need in calling me, I only feel guilty when I know that I am suppposed to meet someone somewhere or have a date that I’m ditching

Maxime is back, for now!

I don't know.

That’s just something I never do. I can’t really tell how I would feel. Probably very guilty. But again, that’s something I would never do. When someone has my phone number, it means they can call me whenever they want and expect me to answer.

I actually occasionally to often don’t answer my phone when I hear it ringing…just because I don’t feel like talking, or answering, or I’m busy, or something. If it’s important they’ll leave a message, if not then I’ll see they called and call back later to see what for.
It’s no big deal to me.
