Not really. You’re right about that.
However, if you want to read about geisha gettin’ out there, read Memoirs of a Geisha. It was written by a man. The movie is artistically brilliant (although lacking in plot). I swear, though, that the author “borrowed” from Geisha a Life, the details were so similar.
