I learned to spin on a wheel today and I love it. Of course, I am still learning and it’s going to take a lot of time and practice – but I love the rhythm of the wheel and the feel of the wool in my hands.

I also plied my drop spindle yarn and finished my first “skein” of yarn! I used the word skein lightly, because it is only a yard or two long. haha! It is chunky, it’s a mess, it won’t ever be used to MAKE anything – but I DID IT!! :) The woman who teaches me suggested I make an ornament for our Christmas tree with it – just hang it as is…..I think I might just do that! :)
