interesting...

I’ve been looking for a trustworthy charity to help out. I’ve gotten so cynical about institutions, and I really want what little money I can give to help people.

don't know when you went

to the sudan with doctors without borders, but do you by any chance know doctor spector? he was there a couple of years ago. he was featured in a cnn special about the crisis.

thought i’d take a shot.

sorry

they change us every 6 mos or so, plus, we have about 6-8 different areas we operate in so unlikely we would have met anyway. I left there last year in April, then went to Liberia.

well, it was worth a shot.

he’s been with them in darfur and angola. maybe a couple of other places. great organization.

it was a long shot, but i figured the cnn thing made it slightly more possible.

btw – i checked out your photos on flickr – they’re really terrific. thanks for sharing them.

:)

TO make it worse, there is MSF divisions that run projects in Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, USA and a few others….
In the Paris office they have photos of all the vols ever, it covers several walls on the floors…Much bigger organization than most people realize.

Glad you liked the photos, I really need to upload somemore, but I am a bit lazy….

bravo

My sister-in-law is a nurse and she has worked with MSF in Indonesia and in Azerbaijan. She was last in Pakistan and is currently with the Red Cross on Reunion Island.

MSF is different from many other other Organisations in that they also dare to remark and take note of what they see wherever they are helping out.
