Or so it would seem. ;)

I got a call from a friend who lived nearby telling me to go outside as quickly as I could because the Northern Lights were visible. To tell you the truth I wasn’t sure I was even seeing them when I first looked up, but they eventually grew more clear and it was truly a very, very cool sight. I was in my parents’ front yard with my mother at the time and the lights glowed bright green like gasoline in a big puddle in the sky.

I just hope I get to see them again some time. :)
