Just had a meeting at work about them cutting everyone’s hours for the next little while. The timing really couldn’t be worse since I moved into my full priced apt. I can live on 4 shifts a week, but not really get ahead. They can’t tell us for how long hours will be cut. I can tread water for a month or two and not put any money aside, but I don’t want to be treading water 6 months from now.

Talked to a friend of mine, they’re looking for people PT, I might look into that, but I’d have to get more steady hours here first.

I’ll find a way to cut back, there’s got to be a way to at least put aside 20$ a week. I also have a fund for when I only work 3 shifts a week, which it looks like I’ll have to break into for the week of my vacation.

On the positive side, October has five paychecks, so it looks like I’ll be able to knock out my student loan the last week of Oct, which will free up about 40 a week. It will just be a question of living hand to mouth until I have those funds available.
