exercise regularly

I’m 5’10 and 125 lbs and yet I’m exhausted all the time and have lost all my muscle tone!

I’m not so concerned with losing weight so much as toning up, but I feel like you have to spend hours on a treadmill to make a difference. :(

Maybe I’m just lazy… lol

Comments:

I don’t think hours of cardio will give you the results you want. I think that incorporating some weight training will tone you up. (you don’t need to do hours of weight training either) Also, make sure that you are not in a caloric deficit, and that you are consuming enough protein and you will see results.

Ah good! :) Because I can only take about 30 minutes on a treadmill at a time… lol

I suppose doing more squats/lunges and arm curls would help me out then, huh..?

And its possible I’m in a caloric deficit, I try to stay well under 1200 a day to keep my weight down, but I eat small meals throughout the day and a decent dinner.

Thanks!

Yes. that should help you. As far as whether you are in a caloric deficit, I’m not sure. I suggest that you use an on-line tool such as fitday.com or sparkpeople.com to enter to stats and typical caloric intake and goals and see what their calculations tell you. Remember, also, not to work out the same muscle groups in a row. (because muscle/definition only develops in the rest period) And to keep up your protein intake.
