Why? Because I’m tired of fighting with cars when I cycle.
Cyclists need to follow the same rules as cars. That means, driving in the same direction as traffic, obeying traffic signs, etc. I do that all the time and I do lots of cycling (today broke 4,000 miles on bike for the year). The problem I run into is that some people do not look for cyclists to be on the road or feel a bicycle should not be allowed on the road. Cyclists by law have the same rights to be on the road as cars & trucks.
What I try to do is raise the awareness of both motorist & cyclist that we need to look out for each other and share the road.
Another bumper sticker that I own is “Some women are born leaders. You’re following one.”
My car’s been parked all summer and I could just hear the smack I’d get for that. LOL so it’s not displayed on my car (yet).
The other sticker that I do display is a window decal with my greek letters.
No bumper stickers on mine—I just don’t like the way they look. However, I may relent and get some sort of Obama decal or magnet or something (but not a bumper sticker, since I want something that is easily removable).

I wanted to have a bunch on the back end, but all I have now is an upside down, deteriorating smily face on my gas tank lid thing. And a Hannah Montanna stickers covering a scratch on the back end and another sticker in the front.

No, I don’t have any bumper stickers on my car. I am totally uncomfortable with the idea. I don’t mind them on other cars. Personally I am not comfortable with messages on my clothing….or on the back of my car. I would prefer just to tell people how I feel about something when I am talking to them (or not, depending on the situation).
Most bumperstickers just make me want to roll my eyes! I remember The Onion posted a satirical article and the headline was something like, ‘Tibet a little freer thanks to bumperstickers’. I thought that made an interesting point.
I just think cars look better without a bunch of stickers on them, plus I don’t want anyone destroying my car because they disagree.
My friend has a Pro-choice sticker on her car and she has had all sorts of problems because of it.
