skin

i’ve started eating less – just as much as i need, not as much as i enjoy, focusing on the quality of the food.. that was a part of a plan of doing/having less…
and i don’t use face wash anymore, peeling, gel, a single thing. only a little sponge for mild peeling and face cream few times a week.
and i can’t believe that my skin is much much cleaner, it can breathe in it’s own natural terms! i used to have all kinds of skin problems, sensitivity, redness, acne sometimes, and now it has all improved. this happened in a short period of time.
but it happened when i STOPPED using all those products!!

Comments:

well, just to warn you -

your skin will go through a phase of purification, and it may last for a week or two, maybe even three. in this period problems could seem even worse that before, but you should be persistent, and your skin will breathe again.

the same thing happened to my brother too, so i guess it’s a pattern..?

anyway, by using all those products (with lots of chemicals) you destroy your skin’s natural ability to recover, you destroy the protective shield between yourself and the outside world, it becomes more and more sensitive.. and it’s a vicious circle.

from now on, i’ll just make homemade cosmetics out of fruits and vegetables, or buy completely natural, “green” ones. I don’t want t destroy myself anymore:)

and as for you, good luck with the experiment!

wunderland all i smell is dulse!

people forget about simplicity

i’m sure you don’t feel like you’ve done anything drastic by eliminating extras, some people can’t grasp how it can (is) the best thing for their bodies. look at how your body is thanking you now :)

turqoise has gotten 2 cheers on this entry.
