Tough day today.... 15 months ago

Not only was it Monday and all that, but emotionally, I had a really difficult day at work. When feeling discouraged, it’s very difficult to work through the mire and basically make progress by getting things done.
I know that tomorrow is another day and hopefully, my head will be more into it than it was today. So right now, I’m going to try to think happy dessert thoughts, involving chocolate. Anyone want to join me?

I’ll join you! I had a kinda odd day, myself. I came home to collapse. I didn’t even change clothes before I found out my day off tomorrow is canceled. I now hafta do a bit of scurrying & prep for tomorrow. Dessert needed, chocolate especially!

something in the air

I do truly think there was something in the air yesterday and I think it started last week. Maybe the full moon? At least that appears to be the case in my neck the woods. I work in an insurance office and we always seem notice the weird calls come in right around a full moon. Coincidence? I think not… :o)

a crappy day at work yesterday too, and I was just talking to a friend last night who said the same thing. Must have been something in the air! Hopefully, we`ll all have non-crappy days from today.

Hi, Curlychaos.

Sorry to hear that you had a rough Monday, too, CC.
Concerning one of your recent posts, I wouldn’t worry about any long-lasting effects concerning your yelling at your dog. As the others say, give her lots of attention and she will forget all about it. You do have to firmly get across the message that she’s being bad, eating (gross) things like that which will make her ill. ;) I have trouble with Buster sometimes. On our walks, before I catch him, he sometimes picks up something on the ground and eats it, never realizing that it could make him sick. We’re the ones who have to clean up when our dogs get sick and they just go out and eat forbidden stuff all over again….sigh.

I hope you had an improved Tuesday and today is even better, Wayne. I understand the need for chocolately goodness on a day like that. Monday, even though the day for me was not particularly bad, I did go and have something similar.

Am I a few days too late to join you for some chocolate? I hope that you had a great day today to offset that difficult Monday!

I am doing fine, the kids are doing well and studying hard, and my puppy doggies, Summer and Sierra are as happy as ever.

I realized today that I have been away from the site for 6 months! Time certainly flies.

It’s nice to come back to the site and catch up with everyone. Hope you have been keeping well. :)

It has been far too long since talking with you last. I’m glad you’re doing well and it sounds like you had a nice Summer. Now you have to tell us why you didn’t come back to visit us, lol. My life has been crazy, both at work and home. This has been a tough, but interesting year so far.

My week is getting better as we go along, however, I think the key is a good night’s sleep! ;)
