About Me 15 months ago

I’m a teacher / writer / artist who is slave to 7!!! (just inherited the 7th) furry royals – Dreams, Talon, Rockee, Clover, Hue, Po & J’da.

I’ve been side-tracked by other commitments for almost the last 10 years and have only recently begun to find ‘the lost me’. I’m writing, developing workshops, in the beginning stages of building a creative energy centre and planning a 3 month and 2 week vacation (hard to do for a workaholic) to ? We’re thinking Iceland, Spain, Canary Islands. Got any suggestions?

MeeBEEM sucks again. oh no.

Hi!

Iceland and Canary IS sound amazing! Nice to meet you! thanks for joining us!

Legionella is going to Hungary for the holidays! :)

Hello!!!

Welcome in our team! :) This long holiday sounds amazing! I have never been to Iceland, but I heard it’s amazing. So is Norway. And if you want to see natural beauty, go to Austria and Slovenia (Bled). They have lots of mountains, lakes, waterfalls and everything…And of course, all Europe is wonderful, there is everything man could possibly want!

brannen is dwelling in possibility, once more.

Ice and fire...

...I’ve always wanted to go to Iceland! Being able to take three months off is a gift. I have friends who often vacation in a small non touristy village in Spain and love it.

If I had three months off, I would travel in India and spend some a time in an Ashram or plop myself down in a village in France or Italy, consume copious amounts of wine, eat good food, and write.

Keep us posted!

ann daniels wishes everyone a Merry Christmas!

Seas and pieces of peace

Welcome friend from Canada! I also have heard that Iceland is absolutely breath taking so that should definitely stay on your list. My advice for a peace minded person like you is to also visit the less obvious travel places like Northern Ireland (beautiful coasts, fascinating and warm hearted people to talk to and a lot to discover on post conflict dynamic) and definitely the Middle East! Everyone who visits wants to either stay or go back so that says enough! People are amazing and it gives you so much in terms of living experiences and gratitude towards your own life. If you need contacts or more detailed advice, just let me know, always happy to help! and most importantly: enjoy your trip!

Iamlilly Trying to figure out who I am

Fun times!

:) Hello from Fargo North Dakota! Not to far from your neck of the woods I guess. I wish I could have a three month time off, that would be pretty sweet!

:) Hail back

North Dakota! Yep, not that far from southern British Columbia (in the big picture of things).
In fact, we get into your general area – to Bismarck, ND and Missoula, MT almost every year.

You Can have 3 sweeeeeeet months off. Take it. Where would you go???

At the beginning of the beginning

Thanks everyone for all your comments and suggestions. Sorry I’ve been long away—unfortunately Not on holiday:) Workaholism still has the strong hold, but so far we are staying determined to ‘break-away’.

First we need to reconfigure our business style to allow things to ‘run themselves’. Then we need to arrange care for the furry-royals. All the while we’re dreaming and planning about ‘opting out’ for a while.

Then there’s the pesky business of reinventing my life to again reflect who I am and what I’m here for. Currently making a plan to get myself off the 10-year-lose-myself-and support only-my-husband’s-work program.

Beginning to get really hopeful about the possibility that I can get AP – JN 2009 to work on my work E-X-C-L-US-I-V-E-L-Y !!!
I am soooooooo excited I could pee my pants:))
