Sell something on Amazon
Tuesdays And Thursdays on Amazon.com

“When Times Get Tough – Expand”

I always liked that motto. I first read it on a plaque of a former Circulation Director of Esquire magazine years ago. The motto not only makes sense, but it is a practice that I have been able to put into action.

Amazon allows businesses and consumers to sell on their site for a monthly fee plus commission of each sale. If nothing sells, the only expense is the monthly fee. (There is not listing fee like eBay and other similar sites)

The 15% commission is steep, and margins are not as strong as on a proprietory website, but profits are profits, and additional profitable sales are a welcome thing in this and any economic climate.
