I stumbled upon these web sites and waas surprised that some food scraps like RICE should not be composted.
Now, admitedly I have not done any research on this matter yet, but if you have a couple of minutes to check out those sites it’s really interesting stuff. There is a stress on repurposing on the recycling site, however there are just so many things you can do with certain things, so we have to start being responsible about what we buy and how it is packaged. Less is more as I keep telling my friends!
My CFL bulb needed to be replaced. Home depot and your public utility should recycle these for you. HP also provides recycling for used printer cartridges with postage paid envelopes. They came with the new cartridges that I bought, but I’m betting that the web site provides more information on that.
