find a writer's group in Seattle
UW Experimental College

I took a poetry workshop at the UW Experimental College. Met a woman there who was starting a group and invited me. :)

It’s been great! We’ve been meeting for over a year now. There’s six of us, all women. I’ve been going to lots more readings and poetry events and made some connections in the Seattle writing community. And of course, it keeps me writing.

Once upon a time....

Is the group you go to only for poetry writers? Or is it for different types of writers, such as novel, short story, or children’s books. I need a way to inspire myself to do more writing.

mine is only for poets.

the hugo house bulletin board has notices from people either looking for a group or advertising their own group. maybe you could find something with a broader focus there.
