to reconnect with Beth, an old friend from high school. Last time I saw her was at a class reunion 15 years ago and I don’t even think we spoke at the time. She’s someone I think has a good head on her shoulders and she’s emotionally stable, so I feel comfortable in confiding in her about some of the BS that is my life here. Hopefully she can get as much out of talking with me as I do her.

Can’t remember how we even reconnected. I think another old school mate gave me her email address and one of us decided to see what the other was up to in life.

I don’t necessarily agree with all of her opinions and suggestions about things we’ve talked about, but I honestly believe that there is real sincerity and concern. It’s nice to have a friend like that. It really is.
