I tend to head for the bunch of scrub in the middle. It keeps life interesting.

You can stay right there in the middle looking {which is what I tend to do} but life seems to be calling me to take a right or left: You know the life’s journey…I’m not trying to wax poetic, ‘tis just true. smile}
It also reminds me of a quote by Maggie Thatcher – something along the lines of “If you stay in the middle of the road, you get hit by traffic from both sides”.

You do know what I mean…
I was just doing the dishes and thinking I have to make it happen, make my life go the direction it has too. You can’t just hope things will change or hope they get better, you have to hope and then actively bring in a positive… Make life better, live to have the best that life is for you. Accept it and then … Ahhh…
Sorry I am rambling, I guess I should go do some more dishes or wipe the counters LOL
To quote another quote at ya, be the change you want to see in the world.
Enore is
But I always liked and admired her.
Mind you, I was barely eleven when she came to power, so I didn’t pay a lot of attention to her politics.
For me, her crowning glory was the Falklands War. Argentinian forces invaded our islands, Maggie said “Fuck this!” and sent a large contingent of our armed forces to kick them out. No messing around with endless diplomacy, no worrying about the legality of the situation – nope, she got the job done.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth
Then took the other as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet, knowing how way leads onto way
I doubted if I should ever come back
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence
Two roads diverged in a wood
And I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference

and this is my most favorite of his.
Two roads diverged in a wood
And I took the one less traveled by
And that has made all the difference

but I am so glad that something so beautiful was precious enough to him to quote it to you, what a very special memory you have.
