Ive just got back from a 3 day school trip to Berlin. We visited the Brandenburg Gate, Stazi Prison, Holocaust Memorial, Alexanderplatz, Eygptology Museum and a few other places. We took loads of beautiful pictures, its a lovely place to go!
and it has alot of fascinating history behind it. i know im only 15, but i really did appreciate and take in everything that went on there.
One really good place to visit is Checkpoint Charlie which is where the Russians and Americans got rather angry with eachother and was the only place where people could cross to either side of Berlin, as you probably know already. :)
Oh, and above is one of our many pictures of the Brandenburg gate. At night its quite magnificent as they lit the place up with lazers and banners.
