VeeShay is figuring it out

Have a totally different life by this time next year (read all 9 entries…)
I didn't do what I said I would 15 months ago

I didn’t list my outline yet. I took the entire day yesterday and cleaned my living space. I can think and sleep better when my space is not cluttered but orderly. Clutter sucks my energy away and makes me feel lethargic. Orderliness makes me feel empowered, like “What’s next?”

I can do my outline tonight while at my mom’s house.

jane Have a wonderful 2010. I hope it's your best year yet!!

yesterday was a good time to clean

The new moon is about wrapping up and finishing something old and starting something new. Cleaning and decluttering is a good thing to do at the new moon. I had the same instinct yesterday and did 4 loads of laundry and folded and put everything away and put new linens on the bed that I’ve had in a box since I got them on my birthday (last december!)
I still have to do more work before I feel like I’ve really created a good, nourishing, peaceful and productive environment. I agree with you that it seems that preparing a space for change is critical. I don’t think this is the same as procrastinating. I think it’s part of the process.

I’m going to rearrange some furniture today and try to cultivate an environment that will support good energy and good decision making. Then I’m going to get to breaking down my goals and making timelines and specifics.

Thanks for posting and reminding me not to slack off! :)

Karen Today is a good day.

It's okay...

I’m good at that too! (Not doing what I say I’ll do)... but I feel ya on the clutter aspect- it feels SO good to have a clean space. I am going to breakdown my goals for the month of Oct. and concentrate at a small period at time. This whole year thing sometimes feels a bit overwhelming! Good luck with the outline :)
