You would think 15 months ago

that if I folded up my shopping list and put it in my pocket as I was walking out the door, that I would be able to find it when I got to the store. HA! Think again!

Comments:

LOL!

I know better than to think that. In my experience, shopping lists disappear as you leave the house, only to reappear when you return from the store.

So far this list hasn't reappeared

but I did find 2 lists from 1999. ;-)

Oooh!

Maybe you have a weird time-portal thingamajig in your pocket. I sense a lottery win in your future. ;)

Hey, Simon, I forgot to tell you

I found the list – in my pocket. :-P

LOL!

Thanks for my first laugh of the day. :)

Myself is surviving

The bright side

You had a chance to be more spontaneous while shopping ;)

Spontaneous shopping

is usually the best kind. However, in this case, I was shopping for a big dinner I was serving, and I don’t think the other people helping me, nor the diners, would have appreciated too much spontaneity,

I did pretty well, though, and managed to get everything I HAD to have. I forgot two things, but remembered them before I got out of the parking lot. They were extras, and I decided I could do without them and went home.

Myself is surviving

I am proud of you

The brighter side: forgetting the list made you exercise your memory (cognitive skills should be trained often).

Flirt the Christmas Elf has gotten 3 cheers on this entry.
