I weighed myself this morning and realized my weight is at an all-time high. 170lbs at 5’2! I really feel terrible about myself. I know I have a medical condition as a contributing factor, but I’ve let that be an excuse for too long. I don’t exercise and I eat to make myself feel better about the crap going on in my life. So, I’ve decided on Friday I’m going to go buy a bunch of healthy food and start my weight training/cardio regimen again. But I’m really going to miss junk food…

I know this isn’t the best advice but when I first lost weight (from 67kg to 53 at my lowest, now 56.5), I did it eating mostly junk food… I couldn’t take the dieting and abstention so I just counted calories, and most of them came from junk!! I know that’s really unhealthy and not a long-term solution and I did exercise on top of it. Aaaaaanyway this was just to say good luck and at the end of the day so long as you’re within your calorie limit you can eat what you like :-D
if i can do it
YOU can do it!!
i’m 5’2 too, and my highest i got was 167, and i DON’T have a medical condition….i was “normal” in high school, but once college and real life hit, i gained 32 pounds over the course of 2 years….yikes!
the first book i read for inspiration was kevin trudeau’s “natural cures they don’t want you to know about” book, and i got down to 135 over the course of about a year, and stayed at that weight for awhile cuz i was happy with it :)
then i started running and got into the 120’s and was very inspired again when i saw that it WAS posssible for my body to get smaller! i would’ve never believed it a couple years ago, i’ve never been this small in my adult life! the key i’ve found is trying your best to be consistent. it’s battle for sure, but you can do it and get to know your body soooo well from doing it! and wednesday’s right, and i wouldn’t have believed her a couple years ago, but you don’t really miss junk food as much when you re-train your body to enjoy food that makes it feel good :)
u can try to be good during the week and a little more relaxed about food on the weekends. i did that throughout my whole process and still lost weight, just try not to binge on weekends, that can be a bit of a challenge for sure lol. good luck tho girlie, u can do it!!
