become a US citizen (read all 2 entries…)
My dad did it. 14 months ago

I am just scared I flunk the test, even though my dad says its not difficult at all. He says that since I have a college degree I shouldn’t be worrying about not passing at all. So, I am determined to have this accomplished by this time next year!

U.S. Citizenship Test.

Back in school (I live in the U.S.) we were all given this test just to see how we’d do, for fun.

This website has almost all the questions we were given.

Thanks for your comment!

My dad gave me his study CD. After he sent in his application, he received a study packet with questions, and also a CD where they read you the questions and give the answers, too. Just have to start the process I suppose…

Just after I wrote your reply,

I checked the website you sent as a link. Actually, I can toss my dad’s study CD now, LOL. Since Oct 1, 2008, they have been using a new set of questions!

jenny bean Happy Christmas to all!

you will pass the test!

My husband studied for at least an hour every night: memorizing the original 13 colonies, all the Constitutional amendments and when they were adopted, how the “checks and balances” work in the three branches of government… his three questions were: what is the National Anthem, what do the stars and stripes on the flag symbolize, who was the first president. He was still proud of himself that he knew US History so well and of course it’s nice to have that confidence when you go for the interview. Good luck!

BrittaP03 has gotten 4 cheers on this entry.
