Save money, not waste money! (read all 37 entries…)
I did a lot of good today 13 months ago

for my personal hurting pocketbook. I cancelled both my cable and internet for my primary residence, where i reside only a few months out of the year, for the moment. This was costing me about 1200 a year and I was using it so very rarely. I can think of a lot I can do with that savings, though I will be sad not to be able to go home and surf the net…If I get in there permanently, I’ll re-up.

I still have internet at my residence where my job is!!! just not my perm. residence. Of course its a great excuse to hang out in coffee shops.

actually made me think of cancelling my landline since I rarely use it. My girlfriend and I have postpaid cellphone lines and that’s the contact number that we usually give out and often use.

I have

not had a land line in about 5 years, never missed it. Of course i dont chat on the phone much either….but it could be a money saver for you, I recommend it.

but just within the last few days, I can’t do it, been running around a bit much, new job, lots of travel. But I do appreciate you offerring it to me!
