I was cast in a musical in high school, and was told to mouth the words instead of improve or sing along. I became so self-conscious about my voice that I wouldn’t sing out loud for years.

However, my best friends and incredible boyfriend is a great singer—He’s quite talented musically. He’s always singing, and always wants me to sing along. It started out in the car, but now I can even sing in front of friends, and even strangers. I love it!
