I was in a group of women all about my age and this man kept talking about a beast that we had to fight. He gave us maps of the battle ground and started ushering us out the door. He said that he wasn’t trying to torture us by making on person lead us to the site but more so he wanted one of us to step up as a leader. I thought sarcastically that I’d rather live than take major risks as a leader.
