With the Denver Marathon, I added up my yearly miles since Jan 1 2008 and I’m at 918.3. I should make it to 1000 this year.

I’m a few behind you. I’m at 902.75 as of yesterday. We should have this wrapped up by the end of November, shouldn’t we?

...yes, but I am taking some time off to recover.
I hope to get back on track with some short runs this week. My next “big” race is the Las Vegas half Dec 7, so that will be 13 at least.

race. Okay?
What’s the altitude at the race site? Is it vastly different from where you run at home?
I used to live in Washington where the altitude was just over 800 ft. in elevation and did a run in Utah, where the altitude was over 4,000 ft. Made a big difference in what my lungs could handle.
