improve my diet
What are the results 14 months ago

I’m anxious and have a very hard time focusing when I have too much caffeine. Of course this means that my mornings are normally shot in the productivity arena since I have 2 cups of coffee every morning (Mon – Friday). To calm the anxiety attacks and feelings of not being in control, I’ve noticed that walking helps. I have a gym at my job so, if I could get to work early enough for a 30 minute walk every morning I’d be more at ease. I’ve also found that taking pork and red meat out of my diet made a huge impact in my monthly mood swings and I’ve noticed that dairy results in skin irritations.

I say all of this because I KNOW what to do to have better mornings, afternoons and bedtimes but I fall off the band wagon, beat myself up and think my life sucks before I realize…It’s all a result of what I’m putting in my body.

I’m increasing the amount of walking I do, the amount of vegetables and fruit I eat and replacing at least one beverage with water everyday.

Some possible help

I’m reading a book titled The Body Ecology Diet. It presents a way of eating that looks balanced and, once used to a new way of looking at food and nutrition, seems an intelligent way to restore good health.
