Impossible…......I was born claustrophibic and I will remain so. I don’t think it is a goal that can truly be reached so I give up.
Don’t give up! At one time I was claustrophobic. I had to have an MRI on my brain and the machine seemed like a drawer in the morgue! I kept my eyes closed the whole time. The MRI machine makes a lot of noise, like rhythmic drumming of different tempos and pitches. I made up little songs to go with the sounds. Most of the songs were prayers. The test lasted 45 minutes and they said I was asleep for the last 20. I have had at least 6 or 8 MRI’s since then and do the same thing. I haven’t had a problem with claustrophobia since. Whenever I start feeling it well up, I just close my eyes and sing a little song and it quickly goes away.
