I’m currently in a job that I love and I know I have it good—I have the flexibility to do some work at home every day, plus I work a 4-day work week. The pay and time off are great as well. I’m planning to give this up and stay home with our first child when she is born in January. It’s been a really difficult decision for me to make & I struggle with myself every day wondering if I’m making the right decision. It makes me sick to think of putting her in day care, but it also pains me to think of giving up my job. I want to be 100% in my decision and have no regrets! Help!

You can always work later in life!
There are a lot of advantages of staying at home with your children.
You can always go back to work when you feel your child is ready to make the transition to being looked after by somebody else. You cannot get this precious time back!
I know it’s kind of cliche, but somebody once said, “Nobody ever said at the end of their life that they wished they spent more time at work.”
Do what’s right for you, try not to make decisions that cannot be undone!
