As I was finishing up my last painting, the five year old comes and asks if she could help. I’m thinking, “No”... but I certainly didn’t tell her this… Inspiration struck, I grabbed a piece of construction paper, her crayons and had her sit on the floor beside me.
It has been a goal of ours (the hubby and me) to get her to slow down in her coloring and try to stay in the lines, which never happens.
She impressed me to no end! She picked the colors so that they coordinated with my paints, took her time and did the best replica of my painting that I’ve seen!
I’m so very proud that she took her time and it was perfect! There were no lines and there was no frustration! I’m so proud of her!
