How do you choose who to loan to to?

I was on Kiva today looking to recycle a loan. It’s so hard to choose, and so easy to get lost in reading people’s pages. I was thinking about whether lenders are likely to give more loans now that Kiva returns loans in parts, versus waiting to return the loan in full. I hope so…
