scooterbird may have gotten the job after all

walk a labyrinth (read all 5 entries…)
Uh-huh 13 months ago

Wouldn’t you know, on the day that I got dismissed from my job, where there was a labyrinth on the roof? That was the day they closed the roof access for five weeks while they repair and landscape the green roof.

Could you make one?

If you want a do it yourself labyrinth you can make one instead of trying to find one ready made. If you look up the pattern for a labyrinth on line you can learn how to draw one of the ancient classical ones, starting on paper, and then get a box of sidewalk chalk and find a large parking lot. I’ve done labyrinths this way, and also done them in the sand on beaches using a stick or a shell to scrape out the walls. This works best when the tide is going out and you have smooth very wet sand.

You need a whole package of sidewalk chalk if you draw one in a parking lot, and either way it involves a lot of bending over so it can get hard on the back.
