Having people over seems to be the only thing that motivates me to clean, that snaps me out of my depressed/anxious haze. So, I need to schedule to have some folks over.

Sometimes I clean when my mother is going to come over and when she starts saying, “Don’t bother for me – I don’t care..” I have to cut her off and keep her from telling me that, otherwise, I’d never clean anything at all.
