The people of low-lying islands around the world are being displaced by rising sea levels. Here’s a brief article about it from the Christian Science Monitor. No action alert is connected to it—let’s just keep the faith, keep working to reverse global climate change.

It is a shame. :-(

And this morning I read that the snow-capped peaks in Colombia (the country where I grew up) are expected to lose their snow permanently by 2030. (I can’t find the article now – I’m thinking that it was taken down for political reasons.)

Stopping global climate change is THE most important issue of our generation. Speaking broadly, because you’re not actually in the same generation as me. Heh.
