Find a way to practice my faith (read all 10 entries…)
Breaking this down into smaller goals:

1. I’d like to try to attend church each Sunday during advent. This gives me a bit of time to explore local churches. I know church isn’t everything and that you can be in a church and not practicing your faith – but I need a community to inspire me.

2. I’m going to read one of my Christian books before the end of the year. I should have fun deciding which one:)

3. Start writing in my journal again. There’s nothing like it for clearing my head and to me it’s a form of prayer no matter what I’m writing about.

did you pick a book to read?

What are you narrowing it down to?

Yes

I picked ‘Free of charge: giving and forgiving in a culture stripped of grace’. Not sure it was the best choice for me as it’s very deep – I can only manage a paragraph a week!
Maybe I should pick something a little easier to read alongside it.

Obviously,

I know nothing about your tastes or what you have read, but I know my personal favorites in reading about the Christian faith which are very accessible. If you want a suggestion, just let me know.

Yes please,

It’s always good to get recommendations. Some of my favourites are Henri Nouwen and CS Lewis. I listen to Rob Bell’s podcasts too. What about you?
