No I have not been to australia before, but if I get a year working visa, I can justify it in my mind, now is the perfect time for me. I have found a working visa for 95 pounds.

I think… it’s mostly family drawing me to Australia. That, and the climate, and the fact that it is so far away from the UK…. it seems like a place where i might be able to get on with like-minded people, instead of sitting about with friends who, as nice as they all are, don’t really think in the same way as me.
I’m also just working on catching up with everything, and mostly self-improvement goals and things… trying to stop overthinking stuff… etc.

I hear what you are saying about searching for cool, vibrant people, watching TV and going out drinking really dont hold the same charm for me as my friends, lol, I would rather talk or do anything than watch TV, what about you? thankfully with my friends I dont have the added tedium of shopping to worry about do you? lol.
Surfing is drawing me to australia, a few friends, and the search for great people and adventure…..while hopefully not denting my savings by working a little….
